The Panzano Chianti wine festival takes place one week after the larger wine festival in Greve in Chianti (10 minutes away towards Florence).

The Panzano festival is distinguishable from other similar events by the ready availability of food, both to eat while you stroll and in bars and restaurants. The ambience is extremely pleasant, and in fact there are several very good food and wine festivals held in Panzano during the year.
