The Inter-professional Association of Organic Wines from Languedoc-Roussillon (AIVB-LR) was born in 1991, initiated by winegrowers practicing this form of agriculture. The tremendous development of organic viticulture, at the beginning of the 90’s, incited them to form a group in order to collectively promote their wines.

Today, AIVB-LR is accepted by all the professionals and the public authorities as an active and dynamic association which has widely contributed to the notoriety of the wines from Organic Agriculture from Languedoc-Roussillon.

L’Association Interprofessionnelle des Vins Biologiques du Languedoc-Roussillon
(AIVB-LR) a vu le jour en 1991, à l’initiative des vignerons pratiquant cette forme d’agriculture.

Le spectaculaire développement de la viticulture biologique, au début des années 90, les a incité à se regrouper afin de promouvoir collectivement leurs vins.L’AIVB-LR est aujourd’hui reconnue par l’ensemble des professionnels et pouvoirs publics comme une Association active et dynamique qui a largement contribué à la notoriété des vins issus de l’Agriculture Biologique du Languedoc-Roussillon.
