My name is Guido Bandinelli and I live in San Casciano In Val di Pesa a village located in CHIANTI near Florence ( Tuscany - Italy ). I am a certified sommelier / wine-guide that operates mainly here in Tuscany and my specialization are WINE TOURS.

I have attended the " Istituto Alberghiero A. Saffi " (a professional high school for catering and hotel management – 5 years) based in Florence and in the same period I have attended courses to become sommelier too. I am now an A.I.S. (associazione Italiana Sommeliers) certified sommelier plus I am member of SLOW FOOD and AIWF (The American Institute of Wine & Food ). Last but not least, I also wish to point out that I am native of Chianti and many of the places to which I have access to, are not open to the general public and are off the beaten tracks of tourists! All this matched with a great passion for good wines and good food, it renders me the "ideal partner" to discover the charm, the beauty, the flavors and the tastes of Tuscany !

I offer Private and Customized Wine Tours to people that are spending their holidays here in Tuscany and also to people on cruise in the Mediterranean sea, and that are docking at the Port of Livorno and that are wishing to discover together with a passionate and knowledgeable " wine-guide " the Chianti appellations (Chianti Classico and Chianti), Bolgheri (Super Tuscans Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Messorio etc.) , Montalcino (Brunello di Montalcino) , Montepulciano ( Vino Nobile di Montepulciano ), or any other wine-area you might be interested in.
