La Feria de Vinos de España (Wines from Spain Annual Tasting) tendrá lugar el día 6 de Marzo
de 2008 en el recinto Old Billingsgate de Londres. Si bien existen en el Reino Unido distintas
ferias profesionales del sector vitivinícola, este evento tiene la ventaja de asegurar que el público
profesional se concentra en la oferta española allí presente.
Al igual que en las pasadas ediciones se ha decidido organizar una sola feria en la que haya una
buena representación de la oferta española, tanto de la disponible en el mercado como la que
aún no está presente pero con gran potencial. Se unen así de nuevo la feria de importadores que
acuden con los vinos de sus bodegas representadas y la de exportadores que están buscando
distribución en el mercado.
En el 2008 la feria estará compuesta de una zona de stands de importadores y otra de mesas
para 30 exportadores. Los criterios de participación y selección se detallan más adelante.
En paralelo tendrá lugar una cata de vinos seleccionados de entre los ganadores del concurso
“New Wave Spanish Wine Awards” organizado en colaboración con la publicación sectorial OLN
(Off Licence News) así como un seminario cuya temática y ponentes están por confirmar

The application period for the Wines From Spain annual tasting that will take place in the UK is now open.

The Wines from Spain annual tasting will take place on 6 March 2008 in the Old Billingsgate center in London. Although there are various trade fairs for the wine sector in the United Kingdom, this event has the advantage of ensuring that trade professionals focus solely on the Spanish range being presented.

As in previous editions, it has been decided to organize a single fair featuring wines from Spain that are already available in the market as well as those that have excellent potential but that are not currently present. Once again the event will unite the importers fair who attend with wines from their represented wineries, and the exporters fair for exporters that are looking for distribution in the market.

In 2008 the fair will comprise an area for importers’ stands and a separate area with tables for 30 exporters. A tasting of wines selected from the winners of the New Wave Spanish Wine Awards organized in collaboration with the trade publication Off Licence News (OLN) will take place at the same time, as well as a seminar whose theme and speakers are yet to be confirmed.
